I have studied art my entire life, taking classes and workshops in many different mediums. Before devoting my time to being a landscape painter, my love of nature and desire to protect the environment led me to work as an environmental writer, editor, and educator. I have an M.A. in Journalism with a specialization in Science and Environmental Reporting, and a B.A. in Sociology.
My paintings have been in various exhibitions, and have won several awards. My artwork can also be found in numerous private collections. I am a member of Studio Montclair, the Pastel Society of New Jersey, and the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey.
